Among the winter delights, we find our friend the chestnut. This chestnut soup is really comforting, a real delight to share. It will allow you to rediscover the flavor of the chestnut in another form.

- 1 saucepan
- hand blender
Ingredients
- 50fl oz of water
- 21 oz chestnuts
- 1 stalk of celery
- 1 leek white
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1,7 oz of butter
- 1 apple
- 1,7oz of walnuts
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 4 oregano leaves
- salt and pepper
How to
- Cut and slice the leek.
- Trim and mince celery.
- Peel and chop garlic.
- Brown them in a pan with the butter for about 3 minutes.
- Then add the chestnuts and water, add salt and pepper and bring to a boil.
- Simmer for 30 minutes over low heat.
- Mix until velvety smooth.
- Cut the apple into thin strips, chop the walnuts and remove the leaves from the oregano.
- Serve the soup hot with the apple and nut mixture
Tips
The apple will add a tangy note to your soup and the walnut pieces are there for texture. We hope you enjoy it!
