Bergamott offers you a recipe for homemade toothpaste.
This DIY / Toothpaste has been validated by a dentist.

When we think of our oral hygiene, we think first of all of toothpaste and a good toothbrush. These two basics are part of our daily life, we have them in our bathrooms without asking too many questions for most of us. Even if we are not supposed to eat toothpaste, it remains inevitable, we inevitably ingest some of it. The composition of the latter is not however harmless on our health. The chemical components can indeed have certain undesirable effects such as stomach aches, hives, cancer for some and many others...
The environment is no better, commercial toothpastes contain zinc sulfate which is a polluting substance among others. Don't be fooled, even some organic brands are far from being irreproachable. Take the time to read the ingredients.
There are very simple do-it-yourself recipes based on coconut oil and baking soda. But if you are afraid of using an ingredient that can be very abrasive for sensitive teeth, we have an alternative and feel free to look at our zero waste bathroom article about oral hygiene.
However, at Bergamott we would like to offer you a recipe for homemade toothpaste. Some dentists recommend a fluoridated toothpaste, others believe that we have enough fluoride in our food or water. If in doubt, you can alternate every other brushing with a fluoride toothpaste, checking its composition. The other solution would be to add fluoride to your homemade toothpaste, but depending on the country you live in, it can be difficult to obtain, and you still need to know the right quantities to add. Always ask a professional, because too much fluoride is dangerous for your health.
